Presenting an incredible vintage handcrafted Navajo Sterling Silver bolo tie featuring a unique representation of the Hopi Crow Mother Kachina with three large Kingman Turquoise nuggets on the headdress and a “snake eye” cabochon in the center of her dress. This piece is attributed to Thomas Byrd based on his distinctive wire work and meticulous attention to detail. However, since there does not appear to be a hallmark, we believe this was intended for his personal use and not commercial sale, thus making it extraordinarily rare. The supple 4.0mm braided black leather cord is in good condition and is finished with handcrafted Sterling silver tips with hogan (saucer) disc ends.
