Presenting a remarkable find from one of the Navajo nation’s most beloved silversmith’s, Rayono “Kirk” Smith. Renowned for his extraordinary craftsmanship and attention to detail, Kirk was mentored by his brother-in-law, Harry Morgan; also one of the greatest of all Navajo artisans. This brooch is a casting of his repoussé butterfly design used on many of his iconic concho belts and features seven high-grade Darling Darlene Turquoise cabochons. Bold stamp work adds dramatic details to this large incredible brooch and great care has been taken to preserve its natural patina. The pin is straight and all of the hardware is in perfect working order.
