1883 Liberty Head V Nickel No Cents Grade AU58
This coin exhibits wonderful eye appeal and a full “Liberty”. A great addition to your collection.
The Liberty Head Nickel was put into circulation in 1883, originally without the word cents on the reverse. Later in the year the CENTS was added to the bottom of the coin due to people gold-plating them and passing them off as $5 coins.
