Bust Half Dime 1835 Grade G
This Half Dime exhibits smooth surfaces, the main features are visible as is “LIBERTY”. This coin could make a good place holder in your collection.
The Capped Bust Half Dime was minted from 1829-1837. Designed by John Reich The obverse had the head of Liberty. She is wearing a Phrygian cap with LIBERTY inscribed. The reverse has an Eagle perched eagle and wings spread There is lettering on the reverse with an alpha numeric notation of 5C. It denotes the value in cents and its the first half dime with the value given in cents.
