Presenting a vintage Temé – Sunburst Handcrafts – traditional Hopi style overlay sterling silver cuff bracelet featuring a geometric triangular wave design. Temé Inc was founded by Mr. Lional McKinney and was previously known as Sunburst Handcrafts until Mr. McKinney renamed the company to Temé, from the Acoma Pueblo word meaning “jewelry/jewelry maker.” In the mid 1970’s, an Acoma elder bestowed the name upon him because of Lional’s passion and talent for making jewelry. In 2007, the company was sold and is now part of the Navajo Arts & Crafts Enterprises.
