Presenting an incredible vintage 1950’s – 1960’s signed Native American multi-stone channel inlay BUFFALO DANCER, featuring the most interesting use of semi-precious gemstones and organics of any piece we have ever seen. Brilliant Arizona Turquoise stands out amongst the inlaid Jet, Aventurine, Rosarita, Yellow Jasper, polished Deer and Elk antler and Tagua Nut (aka Vegetable Ivory) but most striking is the detailed, raised, hand carved mask of Tagua Nut with inlaid Jet.
Presenting an incredible vintage 1950’s – 1960’s signed Native American multi-stone channel inlay BUFFALO DANCER, featuring the most interesting use of semi-precious gemstones and organics of any piece we have ever seen. Brilliant Arizona Turquoise stands out amongst the inlaid Jet, Aventurine, Rosarita, Yellow Jasper, polished Deer and Elk antler and Tagua Nut (aka Vegetable Ivory) but most striking is the detailed, raised, hand carved mask of Tagua Nut with inlaid Jet. The bolo slide also has an attached fixed bail so that it can also be worn as a very large pendant. The supple black leather cord is in good condition and has 58.5mm (2.30 inch) Sterling Silver saucer tips. Undoubtedly, this is truly one of the most unique Native American wearable art pieces that you’ll ever own.
