Presenting a vintage 1960’s set of five “Wild Rose” silverplated lemon forks designed by the Th. (Thorvald) Marthinsen Silverware Factory in Tønsberg, Norway – renowned for the exquisite Norwegian craftsmanship and attention to detail since 1883.
Presenting a vintage 1960’s set of five “Wild Rose” silverplated lemon forks designed by the Th. (Thorvald) Marthinsen Silverware Factory in Tønsberg, Norway – renowned for the exquisite Norwegian craftsmanship and attention to detail since 1883. The forks are stamped E.P.N.S. (electroplated nickel silver) 40 TH. MARTHINSEN NORWAY. Accompanying the lemon forks is a Swedish silverplated sugar cube tong; making for the perfect teatime. They are hallmarked “Extra PR. NS. ALP” (Extra, PR for Prima, NS for Nysilver (plated silver), and ALP for Alpacca (a silver-like metal) and SWEDEN. Each piece measures 4 inches long.
