Presenting a remarkable ring from the legendary Navajo silversmith Richard Begay featuring a beautiful natural Spiderweb Turquoise gemstone centered in a unique shadowbox setting. The 21.0 x 11.0mm oval cabochon is set in a dogtooth bezel and surrounded by Richard Begay’s signature steppe design that was represented on many of his earlier pieces.
Presenting a remarkable ring from the legendary Navajo silversmith Richard Begay featuring a beautiful natural Spiderweb Turquoise gemstone centered in a unique shadowbox setting. The 21.0 x 11.0mm oval cabochon is set in a dogtooth bezel and surrounded by Richard Begay’s signature steppe design that was represented on many of his earlier pieces. The award-winning artisan passed away June 1, 2013 and his work remains on display at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC and the Heard Museum in Phoenix AZ. The ring is in excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear, no damage and the original patina has been left undisturbed.
