Presenting an outstanding Turquoise and Sterling Silver belt buckle from the incomparable silversmith Alberto Contreras. Featuring a huge breathtaking 32.5 x 42.5mm Mina Maria / Sonoran Blue Turquoise oval cabochon, set in a smooth bezel and centered on a brilliantly polished field; with a hand stamped, rope-like border and his iconic deep stampwork along the edge. Alberto Contreras mastered his craft under the guidance of Tucson’s renowned silversmith, Frank Patania Sr. in the 1950s and the Contreras family have remained a cornerstone in Southwestern craftsmanship to this day.
