Presenting a charming curio from an era gone by; a vintage 1930’s Sterling Silver powder ladle used to refill a ladies compact. Patented on August 11, 1936 by Charles Grabhorn of Hoboken, New Jersey, this novelty was available for only a short amount of time. The ladle is still in its original cellophane protective wrapping and has remained relatively tarnish free for this many decades. The cardboard case has a velvet lined sleeve with attached ribbon. The box has some minor wear but is in remarkably good shape for its age.
