Introduced in the 1997, the Waterman Carène fountain pen was known for its sleek, naval-inspired design “inspiration from luxury boat design” and “its pure fluid curves conjure up the sleekest lines of a leisure cruiser, or the billowing sails of a luxury yacht.” The Coral Orange model was discontinued in 2003, making it one of the rarest and most collectible of Waterman pens. This Coral Orange model has a solid 18k gold Fine nib, brilliant lacquer over brass, and gold-plated trim. It fills via a cartridge / convertor system (not included) but is readily available at your local retailer.
