Originally offered by The Danbury Mint, this set includes 3 sterling silver high relief medals each measuring 1-1/2″ in diameter. The three medals have a total weight of 98.4 grams. These three coins are nicely displayed in a hard cover book which contains a copy of the Constitution of the United States of America. The set is displayed in a hard cover book. The set is a commemoration of the transition of Presidential power of August 8-9, 1974. Richard M Nixon Announces his resignation on August 8, 1974 and Gerald R Ford is inaugurated on August 9, 1974. Two of the sterling silver medals depict President Richard Ml. Nixon and Gerald R. Ford. The third medal depicts signing of the Constitution. On the back of each presidential medal is a brief summary of that president’s rise or fall from office. On the back of the Constitution medal is a brief summary of how the Constitution allowed the presidential transition. All three medals are stamped THE DANBURY MINT STERLING SILVER on the side.

Please Note: This item is pre-owned. The back cover of the book has some damage on it. The front has a slight dent. The inside, however, is in nice condition.
