Presenting an outstanding vintage 1940’s Coro Duette “Quivering Camellia” Dress Clip / Brooch set. Designed and produced by Gene (Verri) Verrecchio for Coro between 1938 – 1940, this iconic piece features his patented detachable bar clip that allows the pair of dress clips to be married together to form a single brooch. This highly collectible “Quivering Camellia” design features  “en tremblant” (French term meaning “to tremble”) flowers of Siam Red rhinestones navettes with crystal centers nestled inside gold plated petals. Siam Red rhinestones accent a crystal encrusted ribbon and a spray of crystal rhinestone encrusted leaves along with bold green enameled leaves with additional crystals finish off the design. Each dress clip measures 1.51 inches (38.5mm) by 1.45 inches (37.0mm). The ensemble is in extraordinary condition with all rhinestones in pristine condition and all hardware intact and fully functioning.
