The fully gold-washed interior is in immaculate condition, as is the mirror; however, the compact no longer has its original sifter or powder puff.
Add some antique flare to your accessories with this Sterling Silver compact mirror designed by Watrous Mfg. Company / International Silver Company circa 1920’s. The fully gold-washed interior is in immaculate condition, as is the mirror; however, the compact no longer has its original sifter or powder puff. Replacements are still available online for the 59mm insert. The exterior of the compact features an Etruscan style Art Deco design with no engraving or monogram and has a bail incorporated into the hinge, allowing for the attachment of a chain with a jump ring. The piece has fine scratches and patina commonly present with age and usage.
