Each large, long-handled spoon has a very simple and clean design with a monogrammed ‘A’ in elegant script. Both are fully hallmarked with the Maker’s Mark of DM (for David Marshall), the thistle purity / guarantee mark for sterling silver, the castle towers mark for the city of Edinburgh, Scotland, the date letter M for the year 1792, and the King George III (1786 – 1821) duty mark.
