Presenting an outstanding 1972 “Herald” gold vermeil sterling silver Christmas fork and spoon set designed by the artist Bjørn Wiinblad for the renowned Anton Michelsen Silversmiths workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark. Featuring an elaborate headdress of multi-color enamel adorning a whimsical face. Each piece has seven vibrant colors of enamel. Since 19 10, various well-known Danish artists and designers have offered their talents to decorate annual Christmas spoons and matching fork sets that merge with the elegance and meticulous craftsmanship of Old Danish design. Each set was made in limited quantities with the dies being destroyed after 1 year. They are both fully hallmarked, are in excellent vintage condition with minimal age-appropriate wear and are not monogrammed. The enamel is in pristine condition with no chips or cracks.
