Presenting an exquisite Grade A translucent Fei Cui (Jadeite) (翡翠) 18K Gold pendant featuring a masterfully hand-carved magpie bird in a mottled green jade with grey. According to ancient beliefs, magpies are believed to be birds of prophecy and are a symbol of good luck, wealth and fortune. Magpies are known as the ‘bird of joy’ or ‘bird of happiness’, as its name 喜鵲 xique is a pun for joy and happiness 喜 xi.
