Today’s coin is a real beauty, it is a 1907 Saint Gaudens Double Eagle certified by PCGS at a grade of MS-62 with a high relief wire edge.

The obverse of this coin features a depiction of Liberty holding a torch aloft in one hand, and an olive branch in the other under the word LIBERTY. She is surrounded by 46 stars representing the 46 states that were part of the United States at that time. The obverse also has the Roman numerals for 1907 which is MCMVII.
The reverse features an eagle in flight over the sun and the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and TWENTY DOLLARS.
