Today’s coin of the day is a stunning PCGS certified MS65 RED 1914 D Lincoln Cent.
Copper coins are sorted into two main categories, Red and Brown. Red being the most highly sought after as most copper coins quickly turn to a shade of brown due to oxidation.
Copper coins can also be considered Red Brown and Green, Green being mostly used for ancient coins.
This highly sought after coin is quite scarce, especially in this incredible state of preservation. It is cased in a second generation green label holder and is still evenly colored. Only 60 coins have merited this grade at PCGS with only 3 being fine.
As such, this coin isn’t expected to be around for long! Come check it out at goodoletom.com!
