We are pleased to offer this beautiful individual salad fork in the Dawn Mist pattern by Wallace Silver. The dawn mist pattern has a burnished top that accents the leaves on the handle beautifully. This piece is in very good condition with slight polish marks that come with time. This would be a great replacement piece or to add to your existing collection.

Wallace Silversmiths were originally founded by Robert Wallace, the descendent of enterprising Scottish immigrants, in an old grist mill making spoons under the name R. WALLACE & CO. The company continued and prospered and continued to operate, under various owners in Wallingford, Connecticut until 1986. Meriden and its neighboring town of Wallingford were famed for being the home to the finest New England silversmiths for centuries. Sterling silver is a white and highly reflective precious metal. Sterling refers to silver that is 92.5 percent pure, which should be stamped on the metal, sometimes accompanied by the initials of the designer or country of origin as a hallmark. Although less durable than stainless steel and other precious metals, sterling silver is often employed in watches that coordinate or look like sterling jewelry.
