This button hook is a wonderful collectible item that is collected world wide. It comes with a sterling silver handle. For it's age it is in great condition with just a few tiny little dings on the handle and polish marks from use. The word sterling is printed on the handle but it is so small and worn that it could only be seen with a jewelers loop.

What is a button hook?

These Victorian era tools were designed to help pull buttons through stiff leather on shoes and boots, or to fasten buttons on garments. Most found today date from the 1880s to the 1930s, but an early reference to this useful tool dates back as far as 1611.
