This locking coin bank with key is a replica by ERTL of the 1925 Kenworth Stake Truck. In the 1920 s, the Kenworth Stake Trucks were used to deliver quality, dependable Texaco products.

The truck, has not been removed from the box, and the box is in very good condition. It would be a very valuable addition to your collection.

This truck is number 9 in the Collector s Series, and is Stock Number 9385. It was produced in 1992 by THE ERTL COMPANY, INC.

According to Collecting Toy Cars & Trucks by OBriens, 3rd edition, Ertl was begun by Fred Ertl Sr., in 1945, working out of his Dubuque, Iowa, home Today, Ertl is the largest manufacturer of toy-farm equipment in the world; in addition, it makes a number of other toys, such as cars, trucks and airplanes.
